Most homeowners believe the air inside their home is cleaner than the air outside. But the truth is, indoor air is 2 to 12 times more polluted than outdoor air. These pollutants can be dust mites, pollen, mold spores, pet dander, dust, and smog. Your heating and cooling system has an air filter to filter the indoor air so you can breathe fresh air and stay comfortably.
Changing the clogged furnace filter can make a world of difference in your indoor air quality. All air filters come with MERV rating, higher the value, more efficiently your filter will eliminate the harmful particles. Merv Filters LLC offers a wide variety of MERV 8, MERV 11, and MERV 13 filters in a range of sizes that can fulfill your HVAC needs. Our filtration experts advise you replacing your filter every 30-90 days depending on the conditions where you live.
Our 20x24x4 MERV 11 furnace filters can remove 65% to 79% particles of size 1.0 to 3.0 microns and more than 85% percent of 3.0 to 10.0 microns, highly recommended for living spaces where an occupant has a health issue requires a high standard of filtration. These pleated filters are electrostatically charged, synthetic media made, resistant to a wide range of chemicals. Our 20x24x4 MERV 11 filter does not support microbial growth and can withstand harsh conditions.
Important Note: When you order a furnace filter with size 20x24x4 (nominal size), you will receive the filter with a size of 19.5×23.5×3.75 (actual size). We don’t sell our air filters by their actual dimensions. A rounded up number is used to label filter packages, referred to as the nominal size. So, measure your filter dimensions accordingly before ordering!
